One colorful component of Oscar Ritchie Hall is the Uumbaji Gallery, which features exhibits of professional and student artwork. Oscar Ritchie Hall also houses an African community theatre; classroom, lecture and office space; a lounge; a photographic darkroom and a computer lab. Many of the spaces inside Oscar Ritchie Hall are decorated with vibrant murals painted by Pan- African Studies students during the last two decades.
